Prevention is a wide
subject but as far as HIV/Aids is concerned it is best understood
when for instance persons living with HIV, HIV Care givers and
Prevention practitioners have shared their experiences. In this series we shall
present the theories behind prevention and lived experiences by persons living with HIV. It is our hope
that we shall learn lessons from their experiences.
Take for example Alex Sparrowhawk. Alex is aged 28 years and lives in UK. He has been living with HIV since 2009. He is a young man who is also working and has continued to serve his community, stayed loyal to his partner and committed to mobilizing his community to engage in activities that lessen the mortality and morbidity of HIV.
We shall read about him in the coming blogs, in an interview between the author and him.
Please feel free to make comments and contribute to this project.
Thanks
Dr. Thomas M.
